HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE OATMEAL CAKE 
1 1/2 c. boiling water, pour over oats
1 c. quick oats, let stand
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 lg. Hershey's bars (1/2 lb.), chopped or grated
3/4 c. chopped pecans

Pour water over oats and let stand. Mix sugars with oil. Add eggs. Add oatmeal and mix. Add this to dry ingredients. Chop or shave candy bars. Add a little more than half to batter. Pour batter into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle remaining chocolate and nuts on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Watch carefully. Better next day!

You need 1/2 pound chocolate. You may substitute Hershey's chocolate chips for short cut.
