MOM'S CHOW MEIN | |
1 lb. pork, cut in sm. pieces 1 med. onion, chopped fine 2 c. celery, chopped sm. 1 or 2 cans chicken rice soup 2 cans water 2 tbsp. soy sauce, or to taste (Can use water chestnuts, sliced bean sprouts, or mushrooms, if you like). Brown meat well - add rest of ingredients and simmer 1-2 hours. Thicken with cornstarch (1 tablespoon mixed in 1 tablespoon cold water, stir in to simmering mixture.) |
