5 or 6 medium potatoes, diced 1 onion, diced 1/2 c. celery, diced 1/4 c. bell pepper, diced pickles or pickle relish (optional) 2 or 3 hard-boiled eggs Dressing: 3 eggs, well beaten 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 c. flour 1/4 c. vinegar 2 c. milk 1 tbsp. celery salt salt and pepper to taste Cook until mixture comes to a good boil, stirring continually. Pour over potatoes and stir. | |

This recipe has me feeling adventurous about making homemade dressing instead of using Miracle Whip or mayo. The omly other ingredient I'll use is bacon grease. I'll add a small amount of it to the potatoes while they boil (a tip from CM). Wish me luck and I'll be sure to post my results.
