1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. almond flavoring
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and mix well. Add flavoring. Sift dry ingredients and add to butter mixture. Dough will be soft but should not stick to your hands.
