CLASSIC CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. vanilla flavored instant pudding
2 eggs
1 pkg. chocolate chips (or butterscotch or peanut butter chips)
1 c. walnuts, chopped (optional)

Combine butter, sugars, vanilla and pudding mix in large bowl; beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs; add flour and baking soda. Stir in chips and nuts. Batter will be stiff. Drop by teaspoonsful on cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 9 to 12 minutes.

You can make several different flavored cookies by using different flavored puddings and chips. Try butterscotch pudding and chips or chocolate pudding and chips - are delicious.
