BREAD PUDDING | |
5 eggs 2 c. milk 1 c. brown sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. raisins 1 tsp. vanilla 6-8 slices bread & couple of buns Mix all ingredients together except for bread. After mixing the custard well, start to mix in the bread slices and buns, etc. This amount of custard will use about 6 to 8 slices of bread and a couple of buns. If using raisin or raisin-cinnamon bread, omit the raisins and cinnamon from the regular recipe. Mixture should look thick with no liquid showing. Pour into greased baking pan. Bake at 340 degrees for 35 minutes. NOTE: Use left over bread ends, buns, etc. for this recipe. Raisin bread is very good in this recipe. |
