PORK CHOP SKILLET DINNER | |
6 pork chops 2/3 c. rice, uncooked 1 c. water 2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 can tomatoes 1 c. whole kernel corn Brown chops in a little fat. Remove from skillet. Spread roux in pan. Add water. Sprinkle with salt. Add onions, tomatoes. Spoon on corn. Sprinkle with pepper and bring to a boil. Add chops, turn heat to low, cover and simmer 25 to 30 minutes or until rice is done. Add small amount of water if starting to cook dry. |
