TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
2 c. flour, sifted
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/3 c. milk
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Measure flour and sugar; set aside. In saucepan, bring to boil butter, cocoa and water. Cool; add to sour cream, soda, eggs and vanilla in bowl. Mix in flour and sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in 11x16 inch ungreased pan.

FROSTING: (Make while cake is baking). Mix and bring to boil in saucepan 1 stick butter, 4 tablespoons cocoa, 1/3 cup milk. Add to 1 pound powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread on while cake is warm.
