1/2 c. shortening
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk

TOPPING:

1 c. brown sugar
4 tsp. butter
2 tsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. nuts

Beat shortening, eggs, sugar and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder, salt and milk. Mix well. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Add topping which has been mixed together. Bake approximately 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
