APPLE BRUNCH COFFEE CAKE | |
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia brand cream cheese 1/2 c. butter 1 1/4 c. granulated sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 3/4 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 c. milk 3 c. peeled apples, thinly sliced Combine softened cream cheese, butter, and sugar, mixing until well blended. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add combined dry ingredients to creamed mixture, alternating with milk, mixing well after each addition. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 inch baking pan. Top with apples. TOPPING: 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 1/2 c. flour 1/4 c. butter 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Combine brown sugar, flour, butter and cinnamon. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Makes 8 to 10 servings. |
