TOLL HOUSE PAN COOKIES 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. melted butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped walnuts (optional)

Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside. In large bowl combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Spread into greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan (jelly roll style). Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool and cut into 2 inch squares.
