BROCCOLI-CHEESE SOUP 
2 bundles broccoli
1/2 lb. bacon
5 qts. water
1 med. onion, chopped
2 bouillon cubes
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 - 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 c. powdered milk
2/3 c. flour
1 c. cold water

Chop bacon and cook until crisp; drain. Add water, salt, pepper, onion, bouillon cubes and broccoli. Cook 20 minutes.

Mix 1 cup cold water, flour and powdered milk. Stir into hot soup and thicken. Add cheese. Add more cheese, bouillon or seasonings as needed.
