5 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. milk

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and blend. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to creamed mixture alternating with milk. Fill greased muffin tins 1/2 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Brush while hot with butter; dip in mixture of 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
