KIM'S CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. shortening or real butter
1 c. brown sugar or dark brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 to 2 tsp. real vanilla
2 c. flour
1 (12 oz.) bag milk chocolate chips

Mix and bake at 300 degrees for slow or 350 degrees for quick. When almost done, give each cookie a little pat, then finish cooking. Have with a cold glass of milk.
