HUNGARIAN GOULASH | |
1/2 lb. ground beef 1/2 dry onion, chopped 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1 (8 oz.) can water 1 garlic clove, minced 1/2 tsp. chili powder Rotini shaped pasta Brown beef, add all ingredients except pasta noodles. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer about 15-20 minutes. If mixture reduces too much, add a little more water. Cook rotini pasta as directed on package until done, drain. Place generous amount (start with about 1/4 cup--add more as needed) of butter in skillet over medium heat. After butter melts, add the cooked pasta. Cook noodles just until they start to crisp up and become golden brown. Salt and pepper noodles to taste. |
