MRS. ROSANOU'S ALMOND CAKE 
1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. almond paste
1 tsp. almond extract
2 c. sifted flour
1/4 c. sliced almonds

Preheat oven to 350 degree. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Separate egg; beat yolk into butter mix. Beat in almond paste and extract until smooth. At low, beat in flour just until well combined.
