1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. flour
salt
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
vanilla

Beat until thick. Double for layer cake.

Chocolate Cake:

1 c. sugar, creamed with 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 c. flour
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. cold water
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in the water
pinch of salt

It is so good you probably should double the recipe.

Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.
