CREAM OF ASPARAGUS SOUP 
1 onion
1 lb. asparagus (fresh preferred) or equal weight frozen
1 pt. milk
1/2 pt. cream
1 tbsp. Wondra flour
Salt & pepper

Boil the asparagus and onion in a small amount of water until tender (about 30 minutes). Season to taste. Put the cooked asparagus-onion mixture in a blender and blend until smooth. Put blender mixture back in a saucepan and add the milk, cream and flour. Heat, but do not boil. Serves 4.
