CARROTS AND APPLES 
4 to 5 lg. carrots, skinned and thinly sliced
3 apples, cored, skinned and cut into med. size chunks
Lemon juice

Prepare carrots and place in skillet with 3 tablespoons of butter. Saute carrots until fork can pierce them. Add apples to skillet and cover for approximately 5 minutes, stirring once. Add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice to skillet (more or less to suit your taste) and continue to cook for 2 minutes. Serves four.
