BAKED APPLE - CARROT CASSEROLE 
2 tbsp. flour
5 tbsp. sugar
5 apples, peeled & thinly sliced
2 c. sliced, cooked carrots
1/4 c. butter, divided
3/4 c. orange juice

Combine flour and sugar; blend well. Layer half of apple slices in a shallow 2 quart baking dish; cover with half of the carrots. Sprinkle with a small amount of flour mixture, and dot with 2 tablespoons butter. Repeat layers; pour orange juice over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until tender. Yield 6 servings.
