PECAN PIE 
3 eggs
1/3 c. melted butter
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell, deep dish
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. pecan halves or chips
1 c. Karo pancake syrup
1/4 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat eggs thoroughly with sugar, salt, syrup and melted butter. Add pecans and pour into deep dish pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes or until firm.
