MARVELOUS MOCHA SQUARES 
3/4 c. hot coffee
1/2 c. quick-cooking oats
3/4 c. baking mix
1/2 c. granulates sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1/2 c. miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Pour coffee over oats in medium bowl; let stand 10 minutes. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 9 x 2 inch square pan. Mix remaining ingredients except chocolate chips and pecans into oat mixture; beat vigorously 1 minute. Spread in pan; sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans. Bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes. Cool; cut into squares about 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inches. Makes 16 squares.
