PARMESAN VEGETABLE TOSS | |
4 c. broccoli 4 c. cauliflower 1 lg. onion, thinly sliced 1/4 c. sugar 1/3 c. Parmesan 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. basil leaves 2 c. mayonnaise 1 lg. head lettuce 1 lb. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled 2 c. seasoned croutons 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained Cut up the broccoli and cauliflower into bite size pieces. Combine with the onion. Mix sugar, cheese, salt, basil, and mayonnaise. Toss with the vegetables and refrigerate overnight. Add the remaining ingredients before serving. |
