PARMESAN VEGETABLE TOSS 
4 c. broccoli
4 c. cauliflower
1 lg. sweet onion, diced
1/2 c. sugar

Dice vegetables. Mix following and add to vegetables. 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. basil 2 c. mayonnaise

Toss and refrigerate several hours or overnight. Before serving, add 1 head lettuce, 2 cups seasoned Brownberry croutons, 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, chopped and 1 pound bacon, fried crisp and crumpled.
