POPOVERS 
1 1/2 c. flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk

Sift the flour and salt. Beat eggs. Add milk and stir gradually into flour to make a smooth batter. Beat well with rotary beater or whisk. Fill greased custard cups or heavy metal muffin pan 2/3 full. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees and continue baking 20 minutes. Makes 12 popovers.
