CAFE IN THE BARN RICE SALAD | |
4 c. cooked rice 1/2 c. diced green pepper 2 tbsp. finely chopped onion 3 tbsp. finely chopped radishes 1/2 c. finely chopped celery 1/2 c. sweet pickle relish 1 garlic clove, minced 3/4 tsp. nutmeg A sprinkle of cloves 1 tbsp. curry 1/4 c. mayonnaise Salt to taste Combine all ingredients. Chill for 3-4 hours. Serve cold. Serves 4- 6. This is a favorite recipe from the Cafe in the Barn, Seekonk, Massachusetts. |
