ORIENTAL VEAL AND SPROUTS | |
1 1/2 lbs. veal, cut into strips 3 green onions, sliced 1 tbsp. flour 1 (16 oz.) can bean sprouts, drained 3 tbsp. vegetable oil, divided 1 clove garlic, crushed 2 tbsp. soy sauce Brown veal in 2 tablespoons hot oil. Add onions and garlic - saute about 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Sprinkle flour over mixture stirring until blended. Add soy sauce. Cover and cook about 15 minutes or until veal is tender. While meat cooks, stir fry bean sprouts lightly in 1 tablespoon oil until heated. Serve meat with sauce on bed of sprouts. Yield: 6 servings. 1 serving = 3 medium fat meats - 1 vegetable. |
