12 thin-sliced slices bread
1/3 c. milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
3/4 c. sm. curd cottage cheese
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. orange peel, grated
1/8 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Grease a baking sheet. Trim crusts from bread. Brush tops and sides of bread with milk. Mix together egg, cottage cheese, 1 tablespoon sugar, orange peel and salt.

Spread about 2 tablespoons of the mixture evenly over 6 bread slices. Place edges together; brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with a mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon. Place "blintzes" on prepared baking sheet. toast in a 400 degree oven for 10 minutes. Serve hot. Garnish with orange slices.
