4 c. oatmeal 1 1/2 c. wheat germ 1 c. grated coconut 1/4 c. powdered milk 1-2 tbsp. cinnamon 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1/3 c. vegetable oil 1/2 c. honey 1 tbsp. vanilla 1/2 c. sesame seeds (optional) 1/2 c. raw nuts (optional) Raisins (optional) Chocolate chips (optional) Mix dry ingredients. In a saucepan combine oil, honey, vanilla, and warm. Add these to dry ingredients and stir until all are coated. spread mixture out in long low pan that have been oiled slightly. Bake, turn this from time to time with spatula. When finishes toasting, add the dried fruit, chocolate chips, etc. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour or at 300 degrees for 1/2 hour, depending on your time schedule. |
