ALMOND ROCA COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed well
1 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. sugar, white
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, sugar and brown sugar. Then add egg yolk, flour and vanilla. Spread batter in a greased 10 x 14 inch pan. Bake in 325 degree oven for 25 minutes. Melt 2 (5 ounce) Cadbury milk chocolate bars over hot water. (Not boiling). Spread over cooled cookies. Sprinkle top with 3/4 cup sliced almonds. Cut into small squares.
