1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1 can cherry pie filling
1 yellow 2 layer cake mix
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. nuts or more

Grease pan. Spread undrained pineapple on bottom. Spread cherry pie filling over the pineapple. Dump cake mix on top (DON'T MIX). Dot with cut up butter. Sprinkle nuts on top. Bake until brown on top, about 1 hour at 350 degrees. Use 9x13 pan.
