CRYSTAL CANDY 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
Red or green food color
4 to 6 drops of oil of cinnamon

Cook first 4 ingredients in heavy saucepan to 290 degrees on candy thermometer. Stir in flavoring and food color. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet. Yields 1 1/2 pounds.
