1 3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. flour, pre-sifted
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sliced apples (3 apples)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. Crisco oil
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9"x13" pan. Beat together sugar and eggs. Combine dry ingredients and add to egg mixture; mix well. Add oil and vanilla and mix well. Stir in sliced apples. Pour into prepared pan and bake 35 to 45 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in pan. Turn onto grate, apple side up. Make glaze and drizzle on cake.
