CHICKEN JULIENNE A LA UKRAINE | |
1 chicken, cooked & deboned (well seasoned broth) cool in broth & cut into strips 2 c. onion, strips or sm. pieces 2 c. mushrooms, strips or sm. pieces 2/3 c. sour cream butter 1/2 c. mild cheese, grated Salt to taste Pepper to taste Saute onion and mushrooms (separately). Mix all ingredients together, except cheese. Place in small baking dish. Bake in 350 degree oven only until warm. Sprinkle cheese on top and continue baking for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. May be served in small dishes as appetizers or in casserole as main dish. Serves 8 appetizers or 4 to 6 main dish. M. V. Volga |
