BUTTER RUM CAKE 
2 c. sifted flour
1 3/4 c. sugar
5 eggs
1/2 lb. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. butter flavoring
1 tsp. rum flavoring

Butter and eggs should be at room temperature. Cream butter, add sugar gradually. Add eggs one at a time, mix well. Add extracts. Add sifted flour little at a time and blend well. Pour into greased 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.

ICING:

1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. rum flavoring
