AUNT HILDA'S PEAR HONEY 
12 c. ground pears
10 c. sugar
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
2 or 3 slices lemon, rind on

Mix together and put in open roasting pan. Put in 300 degree oven; stirring occasionally for 2 or 3 hours or until thickened. Put in sterilized jars and seal immediately. Makes 8 pints.

Can reduce sugar to 8 cups but it takes longer to thicken.
