CHEESEBURGER PIE 
1 c. tomato sauce, no sugar added
4 oz. onion, diced
1/2 medium green pepper, diced
1 pkg, instant beef broth and seasoning mix
Artificial sweetener to equal 1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
8 oz. cooked ground beef, crumbled
4 oz. cheddar cheese, grated, divided
2 c. cooked enriched rice

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In medium saucepan, combine tomato sauce, onion, green pepper, broth mix, sweetener, chili powder and garlic powder. Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add beef, 3 oz. cheese and rice; stir until cheese melts. Turn into a 8 x 8 inch baking pan which has been sprayed with a non-stick cooking spray. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake for 1/2 hour. Remove from oven, allow to sit for 10 to 15 minutes before cutting. Makes 4 servings. Divide evenly.
