KAHLUA SWIRL CAKE 
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. mace
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 1/4 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. sour cream
3/4 c. Kahlua
Kahlua glaze
Optional: pecan halves

Grease and flour 9-inch fluted tube pan. Prepare streusel filling. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Resift flour with baking powder, soda, salt, and mace. In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat 2 minutes on medium speed (batter may appear curdled).

On lowest speed, blend in flour alternately with sour cream and Kahlua. Turn 1/3 batter and remaining streusel. Top with remaining batter. Bake on rack below oven center for 45 minutes. Invert on cake rack; cool until lukewarm. Remove pan; spoon on Kahlua glaze. Garnish if desired.

STREUSEL FILLING:

1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. chopped pecans
1/4 tsp. each cinnamon and mace

KAHLUA GLAZE:

3/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 tbsp. softened butter
1 tbsp. Kahlua

Beat until smooth. Spoon over top of lukewarm cake.
