1 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well, add remaining ingredients. Roll out thin, cut out and bake on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 10 minutes. If decorating, sprinkle decorations before baking cookies.
