STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM 
1 pkg. strawberry gelatin
1 1/2 c. boiling water
2 c. sugar (3 c. if fresh berries)
1 pt. whipping cream
1 pt. half and half
1 qt. fresh strawberries OR 3 pkgs. frozen
1 tbsp. vanilla
Milk

Defrost gelatin and sugar in boiling water. Mash fruit by hand or run through blender or food processor for short time then add to gelatin mixture. Add creams and vanilla if desired. Add milk to fill line. Freeze in 5 quart ice cream freezer.

PEACH: Substitute 1 package peach gelatin and 1 quart fresh peeled, pitted peaches for strawberries and gelatin.

BLACKBERRY: Substitute 1 package blackberry gelatin and 1 (16 oz.) package frozen blackberries, thawed, for strawberries and gelatin.
