PASTA AND BEEF PRONTO 
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 can (8 oz.) undrained tomatoes, cut up
2 c. mixed vegetables
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 lb. ziti or mostacciolo macaroni, cooked and drained

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In skillet, cook beef until browned, stirring to separate meat. Spoon off fat. Stir in remaining ingredients except macaroni and soup. Spoon into 2 quart greased baking dish. Cover. Bake 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
