DOVE CASSEROLE | |
12 doves 2 cans mushroom soup 1 can mushrooms 12 tbsp. butter 1 to 2 tbsp. sage Salt Pepper Fill kettle with enough water to cover doves. Add sage and bring to rolling boil. Remove from heat, add doves, and cover with kettle lid. Set aside 5-6 minutes. Remove doves from water and rub about 1 tablespoon butter in each breast. Salt and pepper to taste. Arrange doves in shallow baking dish and top with mushroom soup and mushrooms. Cover and bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes or until doves are tender. |
