BEEF N BEAN POTTAGE 
1 tbsp. oil
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped (1 c.)
3 1/2 c. water
1 env. vegetable soup mix
1 c. chopped celery & leaves
1 can (1 lb.) baked beans in tomato sauce
1 c. tomato juice (V-8)

1. Shape ground beef into a large patty in a large pot, brown in oil. 5 minutes on each side. Then break up into chunks.

2. Stir in onion and saute. Just until soft. Add water, heat to boiling, stir in soup mix, celery and leaves. Cover. Cook 10 minutes. Stir in beans and V-8. Heat again. Serves 6.
