BAKED PORK CHOPS AND STUFFING 
4 pork chops or steaks
2 c. (2 slices) soft bread cubes
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
2 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1/3 c. water or dry sherry
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom of medium skillet with small piece of pork fat. Brown chops; place in single layer in shallow 2 to 2 1/2-quart casserole.

In small bowl, combine bread cubes, onion, poultry seasoning, 2 tablespoons water and butter. Top each chop with 1/4 of mixture. Combine 1/3 cup water and soup in skillet used for browning chops. Pour over stuffing and chops. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until chops are tender.
