BAKED STUFFED PORK CHOPS 
1/4 c. regular butter
1/2 c. water or stock
3 1/2 c. Kellogg's croutettes stuffing herb seasoned croutons
8 to 10 pork chops, 1 inch thick, cut with pockets
Salt & pepper

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place butter and water in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add croutettes all at once, tossing lightly until Croutettes are evenly and thoroughly moistened.

Fill pork chops with prepared stuffing. Fasten edges with wooden picks. Place stuffed chops flat side down in single layer in shallow baking pan; do not crowd. Sprinkle with salt and pepper; cover pan tightly with foil. Bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees about 1 hour. Uncover and continue baking about 30 minutes or until browned and tender. Serve with cinnamon apple wedges or hot spiced applesauce. 8 servings.

i made this using assorted crackers and dry bread as stuffing and it was very good even my fussy children liked it i will make it again.

I made this for dinner tonight. I followed the directions up until covering with foil. I spooned a can of Cream of Mushroom soup in the pan, around the pork chops. I took the extra stuffing and made a ball, placed it between the 4 chops. Spooned about 1/2 can of water around the chops. Covered with foil, and baked at 350°F for 45 minutes. THIS DINNER WAS AWESOME. So tender. I made enough for dinner tomorrow, but my husband ate two of them. LOL.
