CREME DE MENTHE CAKE 
CAKE:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
16 oz. container chocolate syrup
1 c. flour

MINT FILLING:

2 c. confectioners sugar
1/4 c. Creme De Menthe
1/2 c. butter

GLAZE:

6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips (1 c.)
6 tbsp. butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 13 x 9 inch cake pan. Beat together cake ingredients: Sugar, butter, eggs, salt, vanilla, chocolate syrup and flour until smooth. Pour into prepared pan and bake 20 to 25 minutes (do not overbake, cake will not look done). Let cool in pan. Prepare mint filling. Combine ingredients for mint filling: Confectioners sugar, Creme De Menthe, butter. Beat until smooth. Spread on cooled cake (while still in pan). Glaze: Melt chocolate and butter over low heat. Cool slightly. Spread on top of mint filling. Put into freezer and freeze flat for 1 hour before cutting into small squares. Keep refrigerated.
