BUTTERMILK CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. oil
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. vanilla
3 tsp. baking soda
1 c. boiling water

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease and flour 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Mix together the buttermilk, oil, egg and salt. Then add the sugar, cocoa, flour, vanilla and soda. Mix together well. Add the boiling water. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
