APPLE CRISP 
4 c. peeled, cored, sliced apples
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/3 c. white sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. quick oatmeal
3/4 tsp. nutmeg, or less to taste
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. butter, softened

Grease an 8 inch square baking pan. Place apples in pan. Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly with a pastry blender (or in the food processor). Sprinkle the mixture over the apples. Bake at 375 degrees F. 30 minutes or until top is brown. Serve warm.

Note: You can also serve at room temperature or serve warm with milk, cream, ice cream or whipped topping, as well as serving plain.
