1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 can (1 lb.) Hershey syrup 1 c. flour 1 c. chopped nuts, optional 1. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. 2. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well after each. 3. Add Hershey syrup and mix well. 4. Blend in flour, then nuts. 5. Pour batter into ungreased pan (10 x 15 inch). 6. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Do not overbake. 7. Cool then frost. FROSTING: 1/2 c. butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 1/3 c. evaporated milk 1/2 c. chocolate chips 1. Put butter, sugar and evaporated milk in heavy saucepan. 2. Bring to a boil over medium high heat, stir constantly. 3. Boil 1 minute. 4. Remove from heat and immediately add chocolate chips. Stir quickly until chocolate chips are melted and frosting looks smooth. |
