SPINACH SALAD 
Spinach
Red onions, sliced
Mushrooms, sliced
Tomatoes
Hard boiled eggs
Bacon
Sunflower seeds
Croutons

SWEET AND SOUR DRESSING:

3/4 to 1 c. sugar
1/2 c. salad vinegar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. olive oil
or 1 c. vegetable oil
3/4 tsp. salt (optional)
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. paprika

Bring sugar and vinegar to a boil. Remove form heat. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Chill. Warm to room temperature before serving. Makes 2 cups.
